Obama Featured On George Clooney Tribute, Very Nice!

This was taped last Friday -- I got to go, not as one of the $550/plate dinner guests, are you kidding?? But as a worker bee as I'm a volunteer for the the organization that this funds (American Cinamatheque.)

GREAT taped piece from Obama being very cute & funny! Also brief taped messages from Big Dawg, Madeline Allbright and John McPain.

Nice piece on GC's visit and subsequent plea to the UN about Darfour.

As for Mr. C himself, he is BEYOND GORGEOUS up close and seems so nice and down to earth and low maintenence!! I'll always love him for his Oscar speech saying he was proud to be part of the much-maligned Hollywood community - who went up against McCarthyism in the 50's etc.

It's a good show, be sure to watch, on AMC 12/13.

1. Cute and funny is nice.

Decisive, liberal and progressive would be better.

Too much of the former in the past, and not enough of the latter.

This country is sooooooo in need of leadership.

2. Well compared to BushCo

He's all those things comparatively speaking....frankly I think this country is to goddamned backwards to elect a true progressive, I'll settle for non-insane. Non-insane would be a refreshing change.
