Will Bush IMPLODE before or after Nov 7? |
|
He is becoming less and less coherent at each press conference when he takes questions. He has real problems reading the speeches written for him, and has a habit of trying to appear smart by commenting on the WH press corp clothing choices. He has a chart with the names and locations of each WH press member, and he cannot read it without fumbling, and obviously cannot recall the order he has been told to follow.
Surely a member of the WH press corp 'can push the right button' to make Bush implode.
Helen, if you are listening out there, can you do it? David Gregory??

First off "Surely a member of the WH press corp 'can push the right button' to make Bush implode." -- that ain't gonna happen. For some reason that remains a mystery to me, the press has decided to mollycoddle GW.
Secondly, the handlers won't allow him to appear in public completely unglued. A few hints of instability are the worst they will allow us to see.

2. After the last presser * will not do an other before the election, |
|
Also remember very few people watch those things .... Only political geeks and media members.
I thought * was going to start running around his cage and start throwing his chimp poop @ his last one.

3. I don't think they can keep him hidden for three to four weeks... |
|
remember he is the decider and he thinks deciding to keep having speech after speech is going to help the Neocon cause.....
The last speech when the woman asked him about the 600,000 Iraqi deaths....and the source of the information came from a Credible group....he could barely respond...what did he say? That's just plain wrong"!!
As long as he keeps trying to refute data like this it blows up in his face....and more Americans turn on him...

5. Don't you just love how he slows down when repeating some talking points |
|
to emphasize what he thinks is something that is a little toooooo much for the intelligence of his listeners; it came from KR afterall, so it MUST be brilliant and therefore requires a little more emphasis to get it across to those of us with just ordinary intelligence.
He smirks and almost laughs; you can just hear him thinking "Get it? Get it? Oh ye lowly minds, try hard now. I'll say it for you so you can understand how smart we are . . . "

What I hear is, "Man, I can't believe this works...HA!!! Karl was right. Just repeat the phrase. Don't even listen to the question."
I think you overestimated his intelligence, patrice.

6. It doesn't matter what Bush does. |
|
It's like a corporation. If you like Chevy, and want a Chevy, then it doesn't matter that the CEO is crazy. In general, that is. Some of us do taylor our purchases accordingly.
This administration is using America like a corporation, and not like a country. And in that respect, nothing they do will change their course. They accomplished this by infiltrating the courts, the FCC, the United Nations, the media, and just about everything else, with their men. So it's really like a big company under their control.
And even if we change administrations, it won't matter in the short run. Not unless we get some radical change that I don't foresee. They assasinate those kinds of people. And even Clinton couldn't find the power to end the drug war, nor to pardon certain people who should have been pardoned.
Sorry. I just felt the need to rant. I think being optimistic is unhealthy these days.

it is not "the administration". The real power is what Ike warned us of - the "militaryindustrial complex". They are the ones who put "administrations" in place to do their bidding. They created the obscene lobbyist infrastructure, they took over the media, and they manipulate voter blocs to "vote" their people into power.
Getting rid of the current set of puppets won't fix it. The term "vast right wing conspiracy" is scoffed at, but it is all too true. It is not really "right wing" though. It does not have political philosophies, any more than did Ghengis Khan, or Alexander the Great. It just wants to dominate the world and make its insiders richer. It will use whatever techniques it feels will work to further that goal.
As it stands right now, it has more republicans in its pocket than democrats. Back in LBJ's day that was reversed.

Recently I've been feeling a return to the Dark Ages in that I can see how the desire for domination is still a huge problem.
Yes. I think you said it very well.
However, as has always been the case, the people have the ultimate power. Whether they use it or not. It just takes courage and organization.

However, that's no reason not to keep trying. I'm still waiting for him to show up for something knee-walking drunk. Oh please let it happen.

12. The tipping point may be closer than you think because.... |
|
...the MSM corporate execs now realize they are not going to get any more media consolidation plums from this Administration, and they need to be on the right side of the winners after the next election. It is all about ratings, because ratings mean dollars.
So I think there is a fair chance some decent questions will be asked sooner or later before Bush leaves office to prop up the MSM image.

16. He's never been coherent |

IMHO. Nothing really new in his behavior. He's always acted like a pompous assed fool.
If the Dems win in November, he'll just keep doing what he's doing. Maybe no one will notice he's a failure. That's what he's always counted on - that no one really pays much attention to what's going on. He may be right. GO figure.
