Even to our friends we must look stupid. Anyone else thought about that?

1. Yup.....and Saddam had the markets open and the different
groups could function (maybe not great) but they could function....

If Saddam is on trial for gassing the Kurds and murdering others...then the * cabal must go on trial for the deaths of the 600,000 Iraqi's...

2. In my world of perfect justice
Bush and Saddam would be cellmates together for the rest of their life. If we have to , chain them up do they can't hurt each other, but let them keep each other company for the rest of their lives.

3. Saddam used poison gas on his own people!
Whitman Lied About Ground Zero Danger, New Documents Reveal

I never thought much of former EPA Administrator Christie Todd Whitman, especially regarding EPA's fatally weak warnings about the hazards of the smoke and dust coming off the collapsed World Trade Center towers, and her inability to stand up to the White House's orders to soften the initial 9/11 press releases about the safety of the air in lower Manhattan.

But disappointment and anger is turning to outrage with newly released documents showing that Whitman actually conspired with the White House to falsely reassure New Yorkers that the air was safe.

The EPA under Bush's orders, exposed the volunteers in New York City, to poison in the air too.

5. Whitman needs to be prosecuted....
This is why she left her role at the EPA because her conscious was eating at her....because she knew that she was delivering a delayed death sentence to all of the workers that were down there....I can't even imagine the asbestos levels from those buildings....and all of the other crud in the air...

7. Lung cancer is an awful way to die...
I sat with my Dad the last 3 months of his life, as he died from exposure to asbestos. It was the most horrible thing I've ever gone through and I was just the one that was watching. At least the ones Saddam and Hitler gassed, died fairly quickly.

9. I am sorry about your father. and the suffering he experienced......
The first responders are having to fight for every nickle and dime that they can get for healthcare....this is why a Universal Healthcare system would work....Whitman isn't out of the woods yet...if the Dems take over this will be one more investigation....

4. Yes it is hypocritical but regardless of how...
...asinine the war of choice in Iraq is, Saddam should still be put on trial.

6. My guess as to what others think about the US...
My guess is that those outside think US citizens are stupid, but their views about our government has moved from obnoxious bully to a rogue regime whom poses a grave global threat.

10. We look stupid already...we put him in power in the first place
The kangaroo court is just a final insult to Iraqi intelligence.

His trial and future execution mean nothing to the future of the country.
