Words, nothing but words from the democrats.
No standing for a principle, no filibuster, no action, no movement, nothing. Just stagnation. ..And loss.

2. You would prefer that the dissenting Dems were never heard for the record?
It's not yet known by us whether or not Dems have the votes to filibuster, but, even if they do not, those who would filibuster should damn well have their say for the historic record.

Whether the dumbed down TV people (who prefer soundbites over intellectualized debate and historic record) like it or not.

3. The cloture vote hasn't been scheduled yet
You can't filibuster when the vote hasn't even been scheduled

5. Yes.
Politicians will be politicians, it appears.

But we are no politicians.

We take a real stand now, on someting measurable, and it will be heard around the world.

The 21st century version of Lexington, maybe.

We can do this.

And we will.

Joe

7. I don't see protests in the streets
As frustrated as I am with what I perceive as political maneuvering, at the same time, more people showed up for American Idol auditions than most protests over the last few years. It isn't all the senators' fault.
