Stephanie Miller had a clip this morning, and I just got a coupon for a free movie at Blockbuster and my brain said, "I need to see that!"

Oh, this movie is loike a tonic to me. I just HAVE TO have faith that in the end, there is good in every human being, and it will eventually win out. I am not feeling scared or optimistic right now. Sort of prayer-like, meditiative, just. . . hoping . . . against hope . . . that the good will win.

I have "Mark Twain's Weapons of Satire Anti-Imperialist Writings from the Philippine American War" The same one Molly Ivins gave mention to in her piece about Hillary the other day. Don't try to find it in your local library, I had a heck of a time finding it. It took me a year and a half and a sizable investment to get it. On the plus side, it is well worth it.
