I just called Jeffords - I tried both through his direct number and his fax number. No cigar. I did leave the following message in his voice box:
I hope this message does not meet you to late....I am calling to request that you lead the charge for a filibuster. You are a man of principle. If you lead the filibuster, it will take away the ridiculous right versus left spin, and we can talk about the REAL issues surrounding Alito. You are one of our last hopes.
