Which dictatorship would you be LEAST disgusted with? |
|
1. Tomorrow you wake up, and on every channel there is an announcement from Bush. "Congress and the Courts have been dissolved, I am the Decider."
2. Tomorrow you wake up, and on every channel there is an announcement from Hastert and Frist. "The Executive Branch and the Courts have been dissolved, the US will now be ruled by a single party, our party."
3. Tomorrow you wake up, and on every channel there is an announcement from Lou Sheldon. "The former government has been dissolved. The US will now be ruled by the Arlington Group (the 'christian' Right)."

All are equally vile.
A dictatorship of the proletariat might be...tolerable, if you could keep it from turning out like Russia, and also keep them from lynching anyone but the Paris Hiltons/Ken Lays/Jack Abramoffs of the country.

11. Hey you can't lynch Paris Hilton! |
|
That's a slippery slope! Before you know it we'll try to lynch Keanu Reeves, and we all know how that will work out... you did see the Matrix right? That guy is hard to kill.

Corporate Buy out. Please let it be known that what was formerly called "United States of America" is now called "WalMart Park". We urge everyone to shop and be happy. Thank you.

10. Here's what would happen: |
|
Case 1: America falls apart in two weeks, tops. New country is forged on top of the old one, pretty much the same.
Case 2: GOP majority will persist until some enterprising troll/hacker puts the Mickey Mouse/Flying Spaghetti monster ticket into the white house in 2012. Civil war ensues.
Case 3: I buy or forge my own rifle and go join up with the insurgency.
