Wow, no wonder Johnson and Shays are in meltdown.

I thought Shays was one of the more sane ones
But he seems to be giving Sick Rick a run for his money these days

3. Shays, the new anti-Bush
I love his radio ads, the entire content of them is all about how independent he is and how he stands up to the Bush administration.

Yeah right.

4. I'm sure no Dems in CT will shed a tear if Nancy Johnson lost
Her campaign this year has been the most negative I can ever remember here in CT. And, the hissy fit she threw over the Murphy negative ad was hysterical... and a few days later, the Hartford Courant had it as a front page story that Murphy's ad was true! The Courant is a paper that endorsed Bush in 2000 and 2004, too!

5. Patrick Murphy is up over Mike Fitzpatrick?
Be still, my beating heart, LOL!

This is great news, but if this is an internal DCCC poll, I need to see other results as well - e.g., Keystone Poll, Mason-Dixon and the Quinny.

6. I copied and pasted from the email
and for some odd reason the name of the group that did the polling didn't show. It was done by Grove Insight. Never heard of them and the sampling was small only 400, the margin of error 4.9-5% which is wide. Still it is the right direction and no matter how one looks at it not good for an incumbent at this stage of the race.

8. I thought it was small
so thanks for that, it's even more encouraging to know it is standard.

10. I'd really like to see Sweeney go down
He was one of the architects of the riot of Republican congressional aides in Miami on November 22, 2000.

He deserves defeat and to be sent to the slammer for election fraud.

12. He's my congressman
believe me we are working on it really, really hard. Kirsten is a good candidate, we have a good chance this time. He has never had a real challenger until now and people have just voted for the incumbant. The area is changing and people who have always been republican are realizing that this is not the old Rockerfeller party anymore. Republicans in this area are really more libertarian than part of the right wing group.

16. He's my congressman, too, and I sure agree with you.
He's fairly socially progressive, and co-sponsors animal protection legislation, which I support, but I can never forgive him for what he did in 2000.:grr:

Check out this new campaign ad, very amusing. He apparently also likes to party with underage drunken frat boys, which should certainly be on the record...

11. Shays is another fake moderate repuke
I really want to see him go down, along with Chafee, especially after his bizarre comments about Abu Ghraib not being torture. I can't believe how easilly many fall for this "moderate republican" bullshit.

18. About the signs
the campaign got a bunch more, they have been going up. I got a huge one for in front of my house I'm waiting for a friend to put up for me and a more in the trunk of my car to put out tonight. I got an email of one sign that says 'Gillibrand Congress--and I'm a Republican'(I can't post it but will get someone else to try). There is phone banking every night at headquarters in Saratoga Springs if you can make it, and there is other work to do too.
