Question Regarding Baseball Playoffs
So, another rainout tonight. Second of the series, and now they have no more off days to spare.

What if the series goes 7, and they lose another day to rain? What's the forecast for this week? The World Series is scheduled by the "powers that be" to start on Saturday. They're depending on it.

If there was a Game 7 on Friday night, would they force the winner to fly immediately to Detroit for the game Saturday night?

1. Yes, they would be forced to fly to Detroit to open the Series.
It's happened before.

2. I am guessing yes. TV rules all
Heck they might even have the Cards play New York in the afternoon and the winner flies to Detroit for a night game that night.
I am still waiting for that Detroit - Denver series played in a foot of snow someday.
Funny thing is is that the Tigers may be very rusty by the time the series starts.

Nah. We're just waiting on whatever NL fodder to be served up....And really, Saturday's temps in the 40s were freakishly cold even in Michigan. Our average high this time of the year is still in the 60s.
