My evening radio listening was delivered a severe blow last year when Mike Webb was fired after many years on KIRO radio, which I've essentially stopped listening to (except for Carl Jeffers)..well at least there was Mike Malloy but not for long. Malloy's firing enraged me to no end and I'm still distrustful of Air America for that...

Up on insurance fraud charges? Did he beat that? They had a certain malodorous air, those charges.

An accident, a claim, a dispute about whether his policy was valid at the time of the accident, and beyond that I have no idea about what "really" happened. Nor any idea about whether it has been settled in some way. Glad he's back, in any case.

(edit to add: He never got a check, just the accusations. And his past relationships with the local cops and prosecutor's office have been quite contentious.)
