Those evil bastards at Time Warner Cable |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 02:49 AM by Ayesha
I saw an ad on TV tonight which claimed that Net Neutrality is bad for consumers, paid for by my cable company, Time Warner. I am so outraged, if I wasn't moving in a month I'd call up and cancel my service tomorrow and switch to satellite.
So I guess my question is, which if any cable or satellite service is not evil? Nowadays cable channels (HBO, Showtime) are the ones with most of the quality, non-censored TV shows, plus Discovery and the other nature and educational channels all are cable. Where I'm moving the cable provider is Cox, are they any better or should I look into satellite?

1. All cable companies are inherently evil........... |
|
as is Direct TV which is owned by Rupert Murdoch. You only other choice would be Dish Satellite Network, I don't know as much about them but I haven't heard anything bad about them. The rest? :puke:

went out all the time. Everyone kept telling me that Dish would go out every time it rained--not true. I haven't had a single service call in 6 months with Dish but I had 10 calls in 2 months with Cox.
