14 YEAR OLD STUDENT BEING QUESTIONED FOR THREATS
Well it's nice to see the SS more concerned about a 14 year old than finding Osama.

1. I remember when the SS was more interested in missing
"W" keys than finding Osama bin Laden ... of course, they couldn't find a body less than a mile away from her apartment in a park they searched "thoroughly" ...

2. Hate to break it to you.

The SS isn't tasked with finding Osama. It is tasked with protecting the President.

They're just doing their job, although maybe they could use a little common sense about it.

3. not surprised the SS would follow up on a death threat

regardless of the age of the person making the threat. Shootings by teens (school shootings) for example seem to be on the upswing. It's a stressful job, knowing you have to jump between a bullet and the prez-- imagine if some of them hate him as much as we do.

On an unrelated note, why do young kids dress so slutty these days? Plunging necklines on a 14 year-old? I tried to buy my daughter's friend Barbie clothes for her 4th birthday... the most demure thing I could find looked like a negligee, came with high heels, black fishnets and stilettos. I see the shit they're selling young girls in the toystore. My then 3 year-old was given lip gloss in her goody bag.. why the rush to sexualize children? Why do they have to look like they're trying to turn on adult men, when they're just kids?

5. you are right-one does not threaten the president
with words or actions. as for teen age dress...well every generation tests the limits of what is acceptable. as parents we can only control what is front of us by setting our own standards. my 8th grade granddaughter dresses way to sexy according to my 21 year old granddaughter and daughter. of course everyone thought they dressed to sexy ten years ago...i guess we have to "teach our children well"
