2. i'll be out there with champagne celebrating how we stopped them. |

tired of this defeatist bullsh*t. they are masters of the self-fulfilling prophecy bluster tactic, but their faux-confidence ain't gonna do it for them this time, and we are wise to their tactics.
to hell with planning our defeat--i am taking time off from work to watch the balloting and joining forces with others to ensure that the process is as fair as it can be. if you want to plan something, plan how to defend democracy, not how to mourn it.

I am spreadin the word and really am doing doing all I can BEFORE the vote. However I do live in Oregon where we have voting by mail (the whole country should vote this way, we have never had issues). We MUST prevail, but if we don't will enough stand up? Thats all I wanted to know.

totally agree with the paper ballot thing. elections need a big overhaul. first things first, let's nail this election 21 days from now.

6. Yes, but if and only if it's organized and local. |

If we had a massive national protest in all significant cities in the country, that would do far better than trying to get everyone to DC.

8. I will but I don't want to be alone |

I think most people feel this way . Even if there are groups with plans in every city across the US there is no way of knowing how many will actually show up until we see the numbers and then join in .
I certainly don't see this happening here in LA land . Hell no one I run into is even talking about Iraq or anything else for that matter , at least not in public of everyday conversation , this is about material stuff you can buy .
This subject has been brought up many times and should continue to be brought up . I would have thought by this point in time we would feel confident there were great numbers willing and ready to join in mass protests . This topic alone seems to have little activity if this is an indictor .
