Poll question: Another outing poll -- just for those who support outing |
|
This poll is for DUers who support outing in some degree or another.
The question is: In which of the following situations do you support outing someone?
As a further question, not indicated in the poll. Would you expand the category you select to include that person's immediate family (parents, children, siblings, spouse)?

1. I don't endorse harassing family members of politicians. |
|
They're not the ones elected... They're not the ones passing the bills. The only exception being those who choose to share and use the spotlight of the political arena for their own agneda.

2. I don't either, UNLESS they agree to be useful tools for a wicked agenda |
|
A family member can't go to fundraisers, wag their fingers at political opponents of their spouse or parent, and then expect to get a free pass. If they keep their head down and limit their public exposure to "you GOTTA show up at this event" situations, then I agree, leave them alone.

3. A closeted politician is too subject to blackmail and subversion |
|
If s/he is as open about being gay as most politicians / political leaders are about being straight, it is much harder to pervert democracy. I had to go with "Out 'em all!"

stay out of the Republican party, I say. You may be outed simply because you're a hypocrite.
