"Hung be the heavens with black, yield day to night" |
|
Bush signed the bill that legalized torture and struck down habeas corpus. We are no longer a nation of laws - George W. Bush is officially a tyrant.
I'm depressed. And drained. And angry. But also motivated.
And all I can tell you right now is that if you feel the same way I do, follow these steps:
Get up.
Get angry.
Get informed.
Get armed, if you can stand to keep a gun.
Get motivated - volunteer for a job as a poll passer, poll watcher, or election judge on Election Day.
Help the Democrats take this nation back.
And then take the fight directly to the front door of the White House.
Impeachment is no longer enough.
We need George W. Bush and Dick Cheney brought before a court of criminal law.
We must educate them - and all who support them - on what happens when someone tries to turn a nation of laws into a nation of men.
I think Bush and Cheney need to share a cell next to Moussaoui.
Are you game?
Let's do this.

1. If you leave the gun locked up at home, I'm with you. |

All we need is a Judge to convene a Grand Jury.
Any DU Judges out there?

But why do we need guns? They scare the crap outta me! Or are you talking about a coup?

3. Not a coup, but a "revolution" of sorts... |
|
November 1994 was described as the "Republican revolution" for the longest time. I think its time we put that one to bed and institute the sort of political revolution that brings about "government of the people, by the people, and for the people."
I only mention guns as a practical measure, not as a primary means of socio-political change. I can think of many reasons to own a gun in these uncertain times - but it's the reasons I can't think of or don't want to even contemplate that further reinforce my beliefs.
