3. We complained about national apathy 40 years ago but the concern
somehow disappeared as of late. I guess we probably deserve what we've allowed to happen.

7. No we don't.
We didn't elect him, we don't own the airwaves and the Constitution guarantees that NO AMERICAN deserves what was passed into law today.
I agree there is apathy, but that doesn't EXCUSE the new AMERICAN KING!!!

14. Well, I'm not disagreeing, but our Constitution has ceased to be
operative. I'm willing to take a bit of responsibility for allowing that to happen. My bad.

9. exacty - and those who allowed all of this should get no support
i dont care who they are

i have held most of my thoughts to myself but for the life of me i have no idea how people argue for dlcers because apparently ?? for some magic reason ?? they are going to suddenly act like they care about truth or the consitution when it counts? they are not much different than republicans and certainly are not going to be doing any investigating of the bush cabal and all their crimes
if they were they would have been screaming for a long time now and not rubberstamping the many and varied atrocities

almost the entire lot of them are either completely corrupt or apathetic and outside of conyers, waxman, feingold, and occasionally some others (how sad is that) - none of them deserve to represent the people

8. Yeah, they're too afraid of having to explain a nuanced topic...
Even though it's cut and dry.

6. I'm at least glad it was made clear that habeus corpus
is dead for American citizens. Last week or so, some repubiclown was on saying it didn't apply to 'Murikans.

10. Every Democrat who voted for this bill
should lose their seat in congress in future elections, if not before. They violated their oath of office. Period. End of sentence. No excuse for it.
