Billboard: They Voted to Allow Torture - Lieberman, Shays....

A billboard along a Stratford Connecticut highway is getting the attention of citizens and politicians.

A Connecticut statewide interfaith group is telling it like it is -

this billboard represents what U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman and Republican Reps. Christopher Shays,
Rob Simmons and Nancy Johnson really voted for as supporters
of the Military Commissions Act of 2006.

Take a look for yourself - how about a billboard like this in your state?

1. Excellent. And with habeas gone, they should add...
... this could be you.

I would contribute for such a poster listing my rep, who voted aye, Jerry Fucking Weller (R 11th).

3. Not only did my Congressman vote yes,
but he also cosponsered this bill. Sweeney really has to go. Thanks to him, the United States is allowed to torture terror suspects and we are closer to losing our personal freedoms. Really makes me ashamed to be a New Yorker and a citizen of the United States.
