I work about 4 blocks from the White House. When a helicopter is flying at building roof level, it is only because it is going to the White House, and in fact, the copter was banking towards the White House. I thought the repukes didn't want him to campaign for them anymore.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- President George W. Bush has North Carolina on his mind again. The president was at Fort Bragg in July, and Wednesday, he is visiting Greensboro.


He is scheduled to arrive in North Carolina at around noon. He plans to speak at Waldo C. Falkener Elementary School to discuss the No Child Left Behind Act.

From there, the president will attend a lunch with community leaders in Randleman. He willl also visit the Victory Junction Gang Camp, a camp for sick and disabled children founded by NASCAR driver Kyle Petty.

He will wrap up his visit Wednesday night at a Republican National Committee fundraiser. It will be a private event held at a Greensboro home.
