13. Whora O'dickhead just said that though BC hasn't specifically
mentioned * or the pukes, it is an obvious criticism of them and so let's just take him off the air and talk to some "experts".

Clinton is brilliant. Ideology versus philosophy - the absolute denial of evidence.

14. He's made a magnificent speech describing how ideologues
(bush)have denial as the foundation of their decision making.

They just cut away from him and now the GOP assholes get to try to tear him down.

20. His speaking of how "ideologues" have to be in a state of denial
because they "already have their minds made up" about what's true and will deny the existence of "inconvenient facts" was superb.

34. Yes, but I don't think you realize...
he was also talking about us. I know how I feel about Republicans, and I feel like the person he was targeting. I don't want to debate them, I just hate them. But he made me realize that I and others who feel that way, both Democrats and Republicans, are not the best for America. We aren't thinking, we are making appeals to emotion, a most irrational thing. We hate Bush, and don't try to BS out of it, I know I hate him. But that isn't right, I shouldn't feel that way no one in America should feel that way about people who are on the side opposite them in politics. You can't hate someone and talk to them in a productive manner. It is that whole "you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" bit. In a sense he is talking about democracy, and the democratic process. It is not a process of tyranny of the majority. Politics shouldn't ever be "winner takes all" because being on the other side of the winner really sucks when it is like that. If there is an agreement between sides that they will make reasonable demands, and pledge to listen to the minority side when they are given power, then they will always control their destiny in part. I hope people listen.

35. Of course I realize he was talking about both sides.

How could anyone *not* get that he was talking about ideologues of any stripe?

The difference, though, and he articulated this well, is that you have to commit yourself to staying in the REALITY BASED community. I think the Repubs actually delight in the fact that they "make their own reality" (they said this) since they are in the majority--or at least they are for another couple weeks.

That's a big difference, staying in the "reality based community" and not letting your ideology get in the way of facts.

30. She's such a shill. It was obvious.
She kept saracastically saying Clinton represents "liberal values" (like that's a bad thing) and that Clinton's speaking of "the common good" were just 'words' and merely a catch phrase, like compassionate conservativism was.
