Who's being subjected to the sleaziest Repuke attack ads?
My award goes to Jim Talent for running a sick, disgusting ad that's being aired constantly that indirectly blames McCaskill for sexual abuse of the elderly in nursing homes. Of course, there's worse to come because the ad ominously states, "To Be Continued..." at the end. It's the lowest thing I've seen yet, and I've seen a lot of shitty campaign smears in my time.

Runner up is Kansas Attorney General and major anti-abortion whacko Phill Kline for running an ad that claims that his opponent wants to release sexual predators early into our communities.

Funny how the Repukes here are so obsessed with sexual abuse - maybe they should look at the activities of some of their fellow right-wingers for a start.

Are you seeing anything even more desperate and sleazy in your neck of the woods?

1. Vernon Robinson in NC
accuses Brad Miller-D of being gay because he and his wife never had children. She had a hysterectomy two decades ago.

25. IMHO Robinson Set The Standard For A New Low.....
...undoubtedly the sleaziest negative campaign that depends upon deception, confusion, and outright lies, one candidate has ever put together.

The 'robocalls' were constant, filled up answer-machines memory, and nothing but unsubstantiated lies against Miller.

I would think that Republicans who vote for him would feel kinda dirty afterward.

27. did they call everyone in the damned phone book?
I have had at least three from that monster. I can not believe anyone would believe that horseshit. Though there were two of his signs in my heavily democratic neighborhood.

28. We got multiple calls at my home, and if you were not home ....
....you came home to an extended hate-filled message that filled up your answer machine.

I suspect they were using programmed dialing, not knowing exactly who they were contacting.

The shotgun approach ....

2. Deval Patrick in Massachusetts.
Kerry Healey, Mitt Romney's lieutenant gov is running ads saying he defended a cop-killer and it was his fault the guy didn't get the death penalty, ergo he loves copkillers.

3. Deval Patrick, governor's race in Massachusetts.
His opponent, Diane Healey, has essentially accused him of being friends with a rapist and being personally motivated to defending a cop-killer (he was a public defendant).

Her ads are vile beyond words.

4. For Governor it has to be Patrick in Mass
Edited on Wed Oct-18-06 12:11 PM by simskl
Healey is way behind so she's pulled out the old Willie Horton schtict, accusing her opponent Patrick of helping child molestors and cop killers in his previous life as a lawyer. I hope he hits her back hard, at least go after the Stepford wife haircut all these repuke women have to wear as an identifier.

edited to fix subject line to proper person.

23. She has to hit Deval with slime
It's all she's got. Romney, the evil, lying no-show bastid Governor of Massachusetts has done a truly crappy job of running the state. Healey is little better than the servant he called to carry his shoes while he crawled around the tunnels pretending to care that someone died because of his negiligence on the Big Dig.

BTw, it's not working. Healey has completely and utterly lost the women's vote. We know a phony baloney, sack of lying horsesh*t when we see one. And that's Healey.

5. Hey its Jim Talents Birthday
Happy birthday jim. The sack of shit is 50 today. His ads have a dual purpose. He thinks they will get him elected and he masturbates to them in his office.

Why would anyone want to release republicans early into our communities? That is just horrendous.

I must say I feel neglected down here in South Mississippi. There is literally zero campaigning going on down here except for the local offices. lott is a shoo-in as is my democratic congressman Gene Taylor. I don't know if its nice not to have the garbage spread about the landscape or whether I'd like to see the latest tactics in the races I hold near and dear.

My daughter feigns a terrifying scream when Santorum hits the screen. Not that we watch a lot of TV but in Pittsburgh you can catch Ricky just flipping through to find Spongebob.

20. Talent doesn't even identify himself as a Republican
in his campaign ads. And this area (SW Missouri) always
votes Republican. Hmmm...

All he can do is run these negative attack ads. I have to
switch channels every time one starts up.

What makes me laugh is how he stresses how 'bipartisan' he is in his advertising, yet he voted with Bush 94% of the time. Yeah, he's really a moderate....uh huh.

12. The Mass Gov's race has to be up there....
posters above have it right.

I never had much of an opinion of "Muffy" Healy before - she's never held a real job, just married into money, but she seemed so benign.

WRONG! What a vile bitch. Although Patrick's poll numbers have slipped a little, most people I speak with are fed up with her attack ads and bs.

She's an empty dress
