5. I submit that you are not helping your arguments with your petulance.
Calming down would make for a healthier debate, my friend.

13. It's an example. Would you like more?
Nero. Tiberius. Domitian.

Attila the Hun.

Viking raiders.

The entire Mongol civilization.

Christianity does not = evil.

20. Not in the perspective of your OP, however...

and the three other polls before this one. it puts it in *your* perspective of "see, the Christians are persecuting me, so I must be right in my assumptions about Christians". that's petulant and insulted, when your OP was insensitve in the extreme.

So you go right ahead and feel like the Christians are out to get you. There's nothing i can say that's gonna change your mind.

22. I am a Christian
You should do some research.

I'm pissed off about a long discussion I had with a guy who ran off, in which he argued that to say "Bush isn't a Christian" is an insult and an assault to non-Christians.

18. And I don't appreciate having people imply that my religion is evil.
Plenty of atrocities committed throughout history by people of different religions, or no religion at all.

However, I will say that organized religion sucks.

11. Nope. Evil would exist, but Bush wouldn't even be in the running.
Christianity, especially the evangelical and fundamental branches strips people of most of their rationality. A sane person using common sense and reason would never have voted for Bush.

14. It's not Chrisitans that elected him...
it's Authoritarians. Fundamentalist religiousity just happens to appeal to authoritarians.
