Why don't we have a Shadow Cabinet |
|
Like Westminster Parliamentary systems do? A specific Dem to counter each of Bush's cabinet members and get our message out to the media. Say, Rep. Murtha as our Shadow SecDef, or Sen. Kerry as our Shadow AG?

in parlimentary systems, we'd know who the Dem President would be. We have no clue of our nominee at this point.

wouldn't be the real Dem cabinet because whoever won would want to pick his or her own cabinet.

2. After the unitary presidency, we sure should have this! |
|
The term "shadow" is an unfortunate word for this. We might call it checks and balances or something.
