We're one, big happy block of liberal Democrats, with the yard signs to prove it. :-)

7. What? My asshole rethug neighbors wouldn't even THINK of giving me a ride |
|
in their W-stickered car, even if I were stranded in a blizzard and they were already on their way home. If my house caught on fire they'd probably stand around and take pictures. Fuck em.

8. I'll apply some compassionate conservatism... |

and allow them the dignity to WALK to the polls. If they have no feet, I'll let'em crawl... or slither like the spineless worms they are.

9. Now Now...Let's Be Nice Here... |
|
One thing we've done on past campaigns is hooked voters up with one another. We arranged "Vote Dates"...say if someone indicated they needed a ride to the polls or sounded like they weren't too solid, we'd hook 'em up with someone who also was looking for a ride or willing to give one and make a party/date out of the thing. The concept is that when you get people to vote together, they're more likely to show at the polls than if you leave a person up to their own means and they can easily find reasons to forget to get to the polls. I used to organize groups of us to go vote...this year we're getting a group of my daughter and son's friends together...many are voting for the first time and can't wait for Nov. 7th to get here.
