5. Video of insurgent snipers shooting American soldiers |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-18-06 09:05 PM by eleny
Videos from the point of view of the snipers themselves. Soldiers being hit and going down. It's chilling.

15. Be greatful they are watching cartoons - no one was there to stop me |
|
Back during Vietnam War, I remember my mother was in the Kitchen when Walter Cronkike had a special report about the violence in Vietnam. There was a warning for parental caution for young children but since my mother wasn't around I watched it anyways.
Perhaps that's why I'm a liberal today and I fight against the war

14. CNN obtained the video recently |
|
They determined by studying the tapes that they're authentic.
The moment a bullet hits a soldier, they've blacked out the tape for a second so we don't see the moment the bullet hits. But then you see the soldier on the ground.
The sniper is accompanied by another with a camera shooting the video. You can hear the sniper talking and deciding when to shoot.

22. Much appreciation to AC for doing this story |
|
He's bringing the attacks on our troops to public attention and it's exposing the lies of Bushco.
I don't know what you guys think, but I've noticed a big change in him since Katrina and his coverage of Darfur. He's trying to do real news and I think he should be encouraged to continue.
Who is this Brig. Gen. asshole who is trying to sugarcoat the situation? "But....sometimes they miss!" "And sometimes our guys hit them!"
Anderson is challenging him. Good.
Sorry about the stream of consciousness here....

I've felt that way ever since his Katrina reporting. But then there's that drop of cynicism that whispers to me - the CNN suits took a hard look at Keith O's ratings and collectively gasped before soiling their shorts. I'd bet a lot on how long CNN has had these videos.
Better late than never.

I can't believe this made the air.
It shows Iraq for the Turkeyshoot it is. Our guys don't have a chance before they're shot and the enemy disappears into the crowd.
It shows the insurgents to be highly capable, and most importantly that they're Iraqis. "Their concerns are local" as the rep said.
This is Propaganda of the most powerful kind. It shows the Truth. It shows the Adversary as they truly are. Human beings with goals and means to achieve them.
The American People can understand this.
How did it slip through? Rove must be losing his grip.

Or just watch the international media?
Fuck him and fuck the broadcast media. They rallied for this war from the start, then sat on their thumbs when the shitmire went south. And they still can't find airtime to give to those who were fucking right from the start, and even then they continue to insult them.
They lost me a long time ago.
