Something I saw during Scarborough,Your thoughts..
Edited on Wed Oct-18-06 10:20 PM by undergroundpanther
It happened right before I cut the bully ass wipe off,I was there for KO,and after KO,while I was just about to bawl over what he said,I went to get some water, and a snack and destress..by time I got back to the TV and grabbed the remote ,On screen it was a 4 way split, discussion Buchanan in one window scar ass in another some lady and some dude..,That's when I saw it..

It was fast, totally out of context,A quick small rectangular flash frame it had a small stadium pic on it,a green edge on bottom and top a white background and black letters and it said NFL Terror attack Sunday. As if it was gonna happen, like it was an AD for a terror attack, like MUST SEE TV or something..Like it was a forgone conclusion, It was just a small square graphic on the screen for a second and it was OUT OF CONTEXT totally..weird.They were NOT talking about the stadium threat at all, they were talking about Clinton's comeback and Bush's campaigning in the dead of night and 19% stuff.. It was like a subliminal.weird..Well lets see if something occurs on Sunday as advertised..are they already getting the graphics ready and testing it for the big October"surprise"? WTF?

You'd miss it if you were not there at that moment.
I just happened to be there at the right moment.
And I see subliminals whether I want to or not. You'd be suprised how much they are used.

9. YES.
There was an entire segment on it in which they said that Homeland Security had issued a warning about terror attacks in seven football stadiums across the U.S.

It was a full segment, as if this information were thoroughly credible.

17. It goes right along with their new powers (MCA and the NSA bills)
this would make it very easy to blame whoever you want to on the Internet, like anyone from this site. Then just swoop in and take em away as 'illegal combatants'. The DHS and the FBI are really pushing for this. Remember, the FBI works for Cheney.

15. HS isn't taking it seriously..
Edited on Wed Oct-18-06 10:34 PM by undergroundpanther
Yed it's being advertized like a forgone conclusiuon, that's what bothers me about it,why hype a non threat? It just seems weird.
As for wrong botton ideas, everything you see on TV now is pre screened like 5 minutes ahead of time before it goes out to the public ,even "live" feeds, ok, it cannot be a mistake.

19. It is weird. It's terrible.
We had the article today about how the FBI and HS weren't taking it seriously, and then MSNBC advertises it as being perfectly credible. In the segment, they discuss things like backpack searches, etc. I don't remember any other specifics because I was grading papers at the time, but I looked up long enough to realize that they were perfectly serious about it.

23. I'm not so sure
Because the pattern is diferent.
Year they did terror alert bullshit before, but this one is different than the others. It's subtle in the way it's worded and presented.Way more manipulative.
