Washington Journal: Iraq war and your vote?
R caller says if you vote for Dems, he fears that the funding for supplies for troops will be eliminated and they will be stuck over there without supplies. Where has he been living?

1. I'm loving it so far
The calls are great. The newspaper headlines aren't helping Bushco either. The Dems have seized the moment. The Iraq war dominates the issues. Go Dems!

He don't need no steenkin' news. He'd rather be ignorant and republican than informed and democrat...

6. "Democrats don't understand the trickle down effect."
Thinks that democracy will trickle down from Iraq. This idiot really thinks that's what they have now? Didn't he read that Baker wants 3 theocracies or 1 strongman who the * adminstration would turn an blind eye to?

8. I like to hear the GOP. as it is interesting what they think.
I am not sure all think like that as I think most people who call are more on the emotional side in either party. Personally I wish I could be like them and call but I am not the type that could do it. Years ago I used to turn on a lot of Rush and used to find the GOP calls matched up, some times word for word, what he was saying. Then once I started timing how fast Rush made a bad call. So I really got into tracking things. C-span and radio were background because of my work so I heard a good deal of it for many years. I got a dish in those days as I lived way out in the woods alone and wanted to get c-span. So my emotional are right into this, I just can not call in.

9. That Independent Line Must Be Real Busy These Days
Lots of people wanting a change...and they want it now! If I'm Karl Rove, I better make sure those people I've got ready to vote are really solid...they may be telling you what you want to hear and then they'll take a powder.

The tough job for Democrats is to seize this moment for the good. We need to win on strength, not by default or we'll be back in this mess again in '08. Time now to seal the deal for change, then to keep those people on our side...working hard to earn the vote and keep it.

Cheers...
