A New Jersey Cat tale
Edited on Thu Oct-19-06 08:22 AM by npincus
Last night, my Dem activist neigbor rang my doorbell with a young fellow and introduced him as Sen. Bob Menendez' son... before he could open his mouth to ask for my vote, I spewed, "I HATE Bush, I'm voting Democrat down the line, I'd vote for any Democrat, bla bla bla...". They were amused, we started some small talk, then my cat ran out (I was standing with the storm door open)... I yelled "Shit!" and they helped me chase her back in the house.

Well, that ended the conversation- I wished him luck and closed the door. Of course, they knew my vote was in the bag, with my "Kerry Edwards" sign, weather-worn and dog-eared, clinging to my door.

OK, not much of a tail- I mean "tale", but thought I'd share.

1. Well,
it was nice of them to help you catch the kitty and bring her back in the house. I have a sneaky little cat who loves to bolt out the door whenever anyone stops by but doesn't come in the house.
