Condi RIce - our very own Princess Bimbo
Edited on Thu Oct-19-06 08:39 AM by antifaschits
Sometimes, I cannot tell if she is truly that dense, or if she actually has a sly sense of humor. Yesterday, she announced a set of conditions and roadblocks and benchmarks that North Korea needs to meet, while saying at the same time, "North Korea must return to the six party talks unconditionally."

Here are our conditions for talks, but you can't set any? Oh, I see.

I can see that negotiations are going real far with her in charge. (sarcasm) On second thought, perhaps that is precisely what Bolton, Cheney and others seek. They wany to promote the "semblence" of a fairhanded, but tough negotiating stance, while having absolutely no intention of following through. I'll go so far as to bet that even if NK agreed to every precondition, roadblock and benchmark in order to return to the 6 party talks, the Bush team would be so scared and shocked that it would quickly add more conditions until it became impossible for NK to comply, not without ceding 90% of its territory to US troops and offering Dick Cheney all the lube he needed when they dropped trou and bent over in front of him.

But, I cannot imagine that she is that smart and sly. I do think that Cheney is running this policy for his own reasons. And I see nothing but failure here. It will be interesting just how ruffled many feathers are in the far east. Condi's anti-Midas touch will be fully energized. She will make things worse, and no amount of spin will ever cover up that result.

1. She should resign. Now.
I can't name one good thing she has done.

3. did you hear her voice? Shakier than ever, ready to crack
Although she may have gotten some sleep on the flying palace, she still looks totally unsettled and out of place. Last time I really hung one on, and thought that I missed a key interview, I had that same expression on my face, oh, 2 decades ago.

5. what are the reasons for us to be in N.Korea?
I haven't quite figured this one out yet. We fought a war against communist aggression in 1950-1953 there, what did we win? Why are we there 50 yrs later? There are no natural resources that I can see the U.S. wanting. What is our purpose in maintaining a divided Korea?
