The murder rate goes up during Ramadan, and has each year, probably because targets are easier to find at mosques, etc. And for sure, they're going all out because of the election. They know it will make headlines, as it should. The wingnuts are gnawing their limbs off in frustration: IT'S ALL THE MEDIA'S FAULT.

But, as was pointed out last night by someone on a news show (Ricks, maybe), the Bushies have started to shut up about the "no good news" whining, because they know there isn't any.
