Hastert cannot be TRUSTED to be a congressman OR Speaker of the house
Edited on Thu Oct-19-06 04:48 PM by SoCalDem
There are TWO ways to "spin" this.. EITHER is a winner

1)... He knew and did nothing because of partisan politics.. He'd rather have CHILDREN exposed to unwanted "attention" and possible pedophilia...for YEARS... than to risk losing a congressman, and get bad vibes from the "base"..

2)... He was not aware..
...... why would that be?
......a) He's so unapproachable that his staff feared telling him
......b) He's so clueless that he did not pay close attention to what's going on around him

2. If this is a true wave election, I think Hastert may find himself without
a job after November 7--and I don't just mean Speaker of the House.

7. If the election is close
you can be sure he will contest the results in court and refuse to step down.

3. 2a is not plausible since his top aid shares the bathtub with Hastert
...That leaves 1 or 2b

I Rub My Duckie - Discreet Vibrator

This floating waterproof little guy sits by your bath, jacuzzi or bed with nothing more than those big innocent blue eyes to give away his real purpose in life. Squeeze his back and watch your smile grow as the Duckie massages your tensions away.

"Not necessarily waterproof-you can't immerse it in water or the batteries will corrode and make a mess of the inside! I have used it so much since I bought it that I've worn it out.

12. Denny needs one hooked up to 440 volts to show he's a man of
faith...The Nuukleer option duckies in a row, would probably work, but who would remember to turn them off at beer 30? Madd Quackery is right up Dennis's old Alley, IMHO. Maybe an atomic long wall mining type gerbil would help him remember.

How will Dennis remember if he wins, even if he does?

10. Exactly. They never use the best talking points- only the safe ones.
Or in some cases they ignore the controvesy completley.

I hope they know what they are doing.

5. With two Congressional Rethugs preying on pages
it's really getting smelly.

How much longer is anyone going to tolerate Denny's bumbling schtick? "I didn't know", "nobody told me" etc. etc.

I can't believe his party hasn't dumped his sorry ass already - how many rethug pederasts is it going to take before they cut him loose?

9. He might be going down
It will take a last-minute hiccup, but his district has been becoming more dem, and they're pretty unhappy with the fuck.

13. Absolutely!
If he can't be trusted to keep the page program running properly and make sure the kids are protected from adult sexual advances, how on earth can Hastert protect our country, our laws, our Constitution and most importantly all our citizens.

Totally...

Forgot how History repeats itself if you are not always on guard.

Couldn't remember his oath he'd taken several times...to protect and defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights
