I JUST VOTED & I am one proud Democrat.
Filled out my absentee ballot, Straight D ticket, made my parents proud, lifelong Democrats like me.

I know voting is about the least a person can do, but I did it.

I feel a sense of pride and history to have voted in this VERY important election.

I will have a toast and pat myself on the back.

It feels good.

5. I've not missed voting once in 21 general elections. 42 years of voting.

No matter what - college, Viet Nam, business trips, illness - Perfect Record! :patriot:

This will be my 22nd general election and my absentee ballot sits right in front of me, ready to be filled out and sent in.
(I've also never voted a straight party line - and I'm not about to start. But that's just me.)

12. question... straight dem here in texas voted for BUSH and people
would have to four, five times hit correction to get it on kerry. but the people were present to check their vote and then put forth the effort to correct. if this machine that does your vote does the same thing with straight dem.... like so many did across the nation, who is going to be there to catch and check?
