Crooks and Liars has the Belafonte vs Blitzer match up.

I just thought I would mention for those who might not have seen it yet that crooksandliars.com now has for your online viewing pleasure the recent celebrated confrontation between Wolf "The Republican Shill" Blitzer and Harry Belafonte.

http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/01/24.html#a6844

I wonder if Wolfie might have been called into the office for a little, ahem, "talking to" after having lost two big matches recently. First he embarrassed himself when Dr. Dean publicly spanked his sorry ass and called the Wolfman out on his desperate effort to falsely pin some of the blame for the Abramoff scandal on Dem politicians, leaving the poor Wolf sighing in frustration. Now Wolfie finds himself clearly outclassed once again by another "pinko liberal" as Belafonte pile drives the dumbass into the mat when Wolfman, his desperation clearly showing once again, tries to pin the anti-semitic, Jew hater label on him.

Be careful Wolf; three strikes and you're out. Screw up again big guy and for your next assignment you just might find yourself reporting on the insurgency in Iraq, and not just from inside the Green Zone either (if you get my drift).

1. I don't always agree with Mr. Belafonte...
but he was exceptional and explained it all so well. What an incredible man! He shot down wolfie on every single point. I loved it!

2. Thanks! I missed that and I was wondering what all of the fuss
was about.

God Bless Harry Belafonte!

Did Hillary Clinton's use of the "Plantation" reference follow Belfonte's? If so, I see that as her signal that she agrees with Belafonte regarding the War, even though her use of the metaphor was relative to Congress, right? But Belafonte DID say the U.S. has all kinds of Plantations and that would include Congress, so Clinton may have been trying to connect to that discussion, including Belafonte's definitely clear assessment of Bush's Evil Invasion of Iraq. What do you think about this?

3. Did I read somewhere that wolfie was a former
reporter for the 700 club news? That would explain a lot of where he is coming from.
