Re-Pubs switching sides? I smell a rat!!! |
|
I just heard that around 7 (not sure of count) decided to run as Democrats and this really bothers me. Does anyone know how long ago they decided to run on Democratic ticket?

1. You're right! We need to be vigilent of the stealth repuke |
|
candidates. Those rats can easily switch from r to D and if were are not careful, we can elect of these POSs to undermine our own efforts!

5. If they're the ones I think you're talking about, |
|
they're for real. One of them is Ned Lamont. Another is Jim Webb. Both are staunch opponents of Bush's Iraq policy. Another is Jack Davis, running for Tom Reynolds' seat. He was forcibly ejected from a Cheney dinner because he wanted to question Bush's trade policies, and he now has it in for the Repugs. Another is Slade Mead, now running for Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction. He was hounded out of the Repugs by the Club for Growthers.
I don't think any of them is a stealth Repug. If anything they are going to be among the strongest Democrats - they were screwed over by their former party and had good reason to switch. I'm ready to welcome them.

8. foley's opponent (mahoney) is a converted repug, too. |

i don't know much about him so i can't comment on his politics (and i'm not in his district). he was a repug 2 years ago, i believe. i'm hoping for the best.
also, i have heard recently that the elections official (theresa lapore) in palm beach county in 2000 (the year of the chad) was previously a repug. i can't say that she did anything to help dubya but . . . btw, she got voted out of office shortly thereafter.

7. You must be vigilant on this... |
|
..Examine the candidates as much as you can and expose them for their deception. I knew this was going to happen, the Repuke ship is sinking and everyone of those bastards is going to try to sneak in under the DEM tag because they want to maintain the stangle hold.
LYING is a repuke trait, among many other unacceptable behaviors they possess.

9. Why? Did Republicans consider Reagan a "rat"? |
|
Even Johnny boy Edwards admits he may have been a registered Republican years back when he first voted.
We always hear about Dems switching and becoming Republicans; let's savor the good news when we get it.
