Thank You President Clinton For Your Hard Work!
He's the Best We've Got IMHO

Besides, his sin looks like childs play compared to the last six years.

:loveya:

~snip~ BALTIMORE - Former President Clinton did more than rally Democrats Thursday -- he put out a call for national unity should the party retake control of the House and Senate.

Clinton, in town on behalf of Democratic Senate candidate Ben Cardin and other Democrats, urged voters to reach out and work against, not all Republicans, but the party's "most extreme right-wing section" that has controlled the country for the past six years

1. The Republicans today make Bill Clinton look like an altar boy...
Well, um, that cliche needs some updating, I think.

2. Wow - that's quite a turnaround from advising Dems to support Bush for
the last 5 years.

4. His work with poppy bush has been more humanitarian than political.
I don't recall him supporting bush* policies.

7. I recall him speaking supportively of Bush2 many times on Larry King.

And he did urge bipartisanship and that Democrats would be making a mistake to just oppose Bush. The archives here at DU are filled with threads of Clinton's appearances over the last 5 years.....probably live-blogged every one of them. He's great to listen to, and I love to hear his voice and manner, but examine the content more carefully, and he was very supportive of Bush wherever he could....especially on his war strategy for terror and earlier part of the war in Iraq.

And when he was asked about the Downing Street Memos on Letterman he said HE NEVER HEARD OF THEM. No one believes that. Letterman asked him two months after the DSM were revealed and after congress and senate were calling for investigations into DSM. And newshound Bill never "heard" of them?

I didn't believe it - and the only reason he could possibly have to say it was to protect Bush.

I'll defend Clinton like crazy when RW and media is lying about him - but I will not be blind to where he screwed up, imo.

11. All I know is I'm glad he's out there as a Democrat campaigning.
I'm not here to defend him, hell I question the sanity of anyone in politics. I'm just glad to have his voice.

13. For the greater good, I agree.
I'd have been ecstatic if he had done this much in 2002 and 3, as well.

14. Just the utter contrast between Bozo the President and President Clinton
is so stunning in and of itself, he hardly has to speak. But when he does, he's one of the great orators of all time. IMHO

The man has endured so many personal wars, open heart surgery, open heart surgery2.
He has made a stunning comeback to the benefit of (new) Demos and the incumbents.

I see BC was out fund-raising for Kerry as well, this week.
If Prez Clinton has Kerry's endorsement, it's fine with me.

6. The days of Bill Clinton's serial bonking seem so halcyon now compared
to the present, where a party of serial murderers are controlling the world.

12. I often wonder if one day when Bush is making a speech,
he will rip the mask of his face (like in "Face Off") and Dick Cheney will be revealed.
