So, I just Voted....

And I sealed my absentee ballot in it's envelope and thought to myself "It feels so damned good to be an American".

And for that instant, I was honest with myself, and felt good about the decisions I had made on my ballot.

This year, the true voice of America will speak, and we will awake from our slumber. I am constantly reassuring myself this will happen, however futile it may seem.

People, I love this nation, it's traditions, and it's progress. I continue to stand by it, and what I believe in and I am proud to be an American this lonely night in October.

Loved the fact that my state is almost completely mail-in ballots, which means there is a paper trail.
