4. He and Colbert should tour
That harmony didn't actually suck. I got the feeling Colbert enjoyed that a lot more than his character could let on.

6. Ahhhh Orleans
brings back so many memories. Great band.

He is running against Sue Kelly in NY. Kelly is somehow involved in the Foley mess and has all but dropped out of sight of the cameras. Check out this video http://electioncentral.tpmcafe.com/blog/electioncentral/2006/oct/19/ny_19_see_sue_kelly_run_from_reporters of the debate she ditched!

12. She was on the page advisory panel or whatever they called it
They hashed it out in the debate. She denies she knew anything while she was on the board. She said it all happened after her time.

17. Yeah, Orleans were great!.....So was the John Hall Band.
I was fortunate to have been on the road crew with them for a national tour in the late seventies. They were opening the show for Little Feat. John is an amazing and talented guy and and works very hard at whatever he does. He'll be a great congressman.

7. He's the awesome Dem Congressional candidate for Westchester NY
He's progressive, he's cool, he wrote Dance With Me. I've met him and I'm campaigning for him this weekend. He's one of the ways we're going to take back the House. Send him some money.

21. PART of Westchester
Putnam, Dutchess, and Orange counties. It's a heavily gerrymandered district, weighted towards the GOP. Sue Kelly has faced NO opposition for the last 12 years.

Welcome to the real world, Sue. Now you're fired.

11. That's so cool that he's running.
I saw Orleans performing once in a park many years ago--the closest I'd ever been to a "real" band at that point. Nice to see him doing this.

13. He's doing it for the right reasons.
He's an idealogical candidate. We need him to win.

That's my district. He's doing quite well considering it's a district that usually leans Republican

14. Someone posted a poll number yesterday Hall 49% Kelly 40%!. The
demographics are changing here since I moved up from the city almost 19 years ago. With property values in the city being what they are, this has become a true suburb of NYC. In 2000 loads of lawn signs for the Shrub and in 2004, if I saw 2 it was a lot.
