The DNC site allows you to create your own 'mini fund raiser' page for the Democrat's 50 state strategy. Kudos to whoever came up with this.

3. it is a great idea - so i'm shamelessly kicking my own post

now it's someone else's turn to hold up this ball. i realize it's not quite as exciting as a post on smoking or burkas but maybe we could start some sort of argument about whether it's worth donating to the DNC or something?

here's what a friend of mine said on our local list where this was first posted (i think he was just being cheap): "I think that this time, the Dems shouldn't need any more money. If they can't win this one, drunk, naked, broke and belligerent after being found in bed with six hookers and a pound of coke, then they can't win it with all of the money in the world."
