Walk-On Photo Op Forget Me Not - 20 Oct 06

20 October 2006

Truth in advertisement GOP style.
Now tell me again ... "What is your position on flag desecration?"

"Trust me. Would I lie you?" _________________________ "Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?"

shrub and wife walk on the flag of USA to celebrate his administration's complete failures to do his duty to protect the people on September 11, 2001. It boggles the mind. shrub and Co could have come up with this photo opportunity in the first place. To use the flag and step on it!

Trust US. We don't torture. So saith shrub.

I am not anti-bush. I am for America!

"This Administration, for all its talk of strength, has made us less safe, and its proposal before us today is one that smacks of weakness and fear. Its legislative demands reflect a cowering country that is succumbing to the threat of terrorism. I believe that we are better than that. I believe that we are stronger than that. I believe that we are fairer than that. I believe that America should be a leader in the fight for human rights and the rule of law. "

Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont
