Wag that dog...
So the Washington Post says a big announcement regarding Iraq is coming forth from the WH. Hmmmm...

To me it sounds like a classic case of wagging the dog.

Why the sudden shift in policy? why is moron* suddenly sounding like as if some of the reality of that sewer of a war is finally penetrating is pea sized brain?

Because the elections are only 2 1/2 weeks away that's why.

Just like how the gas prices are going to rise again after the election, I can bet you hands down, that what ever bluster they come up with regarding either troop reductions, partitioning the country, handing over this, giving them back that, whatever, it will all vanish in a puff of vapor after the elections. Why? because they will just pull another card out of their Rolodex of excuses to either blame someone else, say that the "situation has changed on the ground" or that whomever said gave out that information it wasn't "vetted by the WH".

So is this the rumored rove-ass october surprise? Have they sunk to the glaringly obvious tactic of wagging the dog? It appears so.

Which only goes to show that rove wasn't ever the evil genius everyone thought him to be but merely a guy that had a run of luck at the washington wheel of fate. Just like any guy with a "system" it eventually gets figured out and suddenly he's reveals as the hack he always had been.

Cheap smoke and blurry warped mirrors. Nothing more nothing less.
