1. It stands to reason - North Korea set of a nuclear test so we will bomb
Iran.

8. What did Rove say about the October surprise....
depending on whether or not things fall in place, or something like that? Things may be beginning to fall in place as we speak. They just need time to get underground for the shock and awe...after all, they watched it the last time and don't need to watch a rerun.

2. No. Here's what I predict is going to happen
This crazy administration is sending a bunch of ships to the area. Presumably for war games. They'll try to get the Iranians to fire at one of our ships. And if they do, we have an excuse to bomb the crap out of them.

5. The one flaw in your scenario is that Iran's
leaders, including the Ayatollah and Ahmedinejad, are infinitely more intelligent and thoughtful than are our leaders.

7. I hope you are right, but from what I have seen and heard
they are just as good at playing to their "base", issuing veiled threats, and generally running off at the mouth as our dear leaders.

I hope that the world has leaders who are more intelligent and thoughtful than either our leaders or those in Iran.

6. Looking More Like Israel Will Bomb Iran, We Will Back Them Up....
....It is the only way to get the desired result without telling the American people we are entering yet another war. Bush will simply say we are supporting an ally in Israel, that they depend upon us to avoid be wiped off the face of the Earth, and that Iran's nuclear program was a threat.

We keep our ships and planes in the staging area, in range of Iranian targets, and let Israel carry the flag .....
