Friday Freeper Funny!!!! Bwahahahahahahahaaaa!

OMG - I'm overcome with the giggles!.....If only it were true....he'd be crucified in a national race.

********************

Santorum was articulate, aggressive and impressive. If he should lose in November, the strength of the campaign he has run in this annus horriblus should guarantee him a future in the party. I’m firmly a Romney guy and I’ve always been to Santorum’s left on some social issues, but if he winds up having a lot of time on his hands come next January, he might consider making some leisure trips to Iowa. Santorum has shown himself to be full of the qualities that many other high-level members of our party lack – guts, determination, commitment, and passion.
________________________________________________

I have to concur with Mr. Barnett here. If Rick pulls this out, he should seriously consider running for President. This guy is articulate, good looking but more importantly: he is a solid ideological conservative in the mold of Reagan. No wonder the Democrat machine wants to take him down. The Soviets tried to stop Reagan as well.

13. And yet they are the ones who want their Dear Leader to make all
the decisions (all power concentrated in the White House), and they are the ones who listen to nothing but the Government Propaganda Channel (aka Fox News).

23. YEAH! *PLEASE* Run Santorum!
I mean, if they pick Rick Santorum, then that means that we won't have to go up against Newt Gingrich!
Because MAN! If they went with The Newtigator, we'd get our asses kicked in '08!
How DO you go up against such an intelligent, upstanding and moral pillar or virtuous virtue? Answer: You don't. The guy is more clean that the child of Buddha and Jesus! You just try to survive without getting pantsed!

Yup...it sure would be a good thing for us if the Cons ran Santorum instead of Gingrich!

*cough*

18. WTF!!?! Is this guy serious?!?
This guy is articulate, good looking but more importantly: he is a solid ideological conservative in the mold of Reagan

Maybe he has a point...

That is...

If by "articulate" he means given to making precisely no sense, and also given to extracting poorly fabricated metaphors from Tolkien...

and, if by "good looking", he means possessing the visage of someone who is alternately coquettishly stupid and given to fits of uncomprehension...

and, if by "solid ideological conservative" he means PNAC cheerleader with an abiding conviction that women's suffrage was the "start of all things fucked up"...

and, if by "mold of Reagan" you mean if Reagan was a chickenhawk dilletante with a mean-spirited social agenda designed to marginalize "undesirables"... OK... maybe he got this part right...

Must be a question of values.

And someone please tell me WHY Santorum converted to R. Catholicism? Has he said anything about this? If he ran for pResident, wouldn't this be a negative with a significant number of "values voters"?

30. That's the problem with a lot of "Christians". They think it's a quid
pro quo deal: I-do-this-I-get-that Salvation. I convert to _________, I get a senate seat and a chance to be a presidential candidate. It's all about me and what I get.

Santorum and those like him forget that Jesus was reviled by the system of the time, the government AND the church. He had NOTHING but the Love of the people who were truly and real - ly human. And when he hung on the cross he felt abandoned by all "Father, Father, why have you forsaken me?"

These seekers after power and fame and fortune are L - O - S - T and they lead others into the wilderness of chaos and despair.

taxes' crowd.

He could put Roy Moore up as his VP - they could fix everything that's wrong with America and turn this country back to Gawd the way the founding father's intended!
