Republican rhetoric, record don't match
Edited on Fri Oct-20-06 11:20 PM by Birthmark
The claim is made by Bush and his party that Iraq is the "central front" in the war on terror and that we can't afford to lose. Why hasn't that empty rhetoric been exposed for the fraud that it is?

If Iraq is really the central front of the WoT then we absolutely, positively cannot afford to lose. If Iraq is really that important then we need to increase force size drastically and actually take control of Iraq --no matter how bloody or expensive that is. If that means we triple the manpower in Iraq, that's what we do. If it means instituting a draft, that's what we do. If it means dropping nukes, that's what we do. That is what "we cannot afford to lose" means! Anything less is rhetorical garbage.

It is obvious that Bush and the Republicans don't take Iraq seriously at all. They should be forced to match their record with their rhetoric.

2. Brain working faster than fingers.
Hard as that is to believe.:)

I've fixed that sentence. I accidentally had left out a "don't."

Thanks.
