Has Walmart done something pro-gay?
I went to the VA med center a few days ago, and overheard this "Christian" windbag going on about Iraq and just about every item on the "Rovian" agenda. Well, then he said and Walmart is trying to help show gay people how to keep straight people from getting married.

I am in long term treatment and can't watch TV yet, what the heck did I miss?

Of course, this winger could have just pulled everything from his butt anyway... but I just figured I'd ask.

3. Pulled straight out of his ass, I'd wager
....show gay people how to keep straight people from getting married????

It doesn't make sense. Was the guy waiting in the pharmacy for a prescription, perchance?

4. Please, don't let anyone be fooled
Yes, Wal-mart has started a gay friendly campaign. It's all over the web. But Wal-mart is still a big box store hell bent on creating a permanent underclass of mindless automatons. I do not see why gays would find this complimentary at all, unless they want to be a mindless underclass of automatons as well.

5. Wal Mart is all propaganda
WalMart has a history of saying one thing and doing the opposite.

6. Joined the GL Chamber of Commerce
The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) announced today a partnership with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing diversity among all of its associate, supplier and customer bases. This partnership will include executive representation on the NGLCC’s Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) and sponsorship of the organization’s 2006 events and initiatives.

7. Pro-gay?
The important thing to understand is what does pro-gay mean to the speaker. To such a person as you describe, it could mean that Walmart is selling Teletubbies merchandise.

On the other hand, pro-gay seems to be your term and not the speaker's. Specifically you say that claimed "Walmart is trying to help show gay people how to keep straight people from getting married."

That's a new one on me. As you also said, the speaker pulled everything from his fanny.
