Bob Brinker (Money Talk) Just said their are no grounds for impeaching *
He was talking about the stock market and this guy called in and said people were predicting an adjustment before the elections for fear of the democrats getting in. To Bob Brinker's credit he said that was BS but then he said "Perhaps they fear the democrats will try to impeach Bush" then he said "That would be the stupidest thing they could possibly do as their is no grounds for impeachment and the Dem's would be kicked right back out in two years".

No grounds for impeachment?????? When he said this I started laughing so hard I almost wrecked my truck. Bob Brinker obviously has not been paying attention to what the hell has been going on. The case for impeachment is clear and the list of impeachable offenses is a mile long!

If Bob Brinker is that stupid on our country's laws he can't be much better with managing money. What a fool!

1. A month's worth of serious investigation
would net a whole laundry list of impeachable offenses. That's probably what scares the nitwits the most...that they'd all suddenly become accountable.

Well, tough shit.

3. I heard that segment also
and had the same reaction. Bob is quite the conservative but insists (like O'Reilly) that he's independent. He can be very informative but when he starts up with his politics I just turn the radio dial...

4. Uh, No
He's doubly wrong.

First off, there really is no good definition of an impeachable offense. "High crimes and misdemeanors" is not defined anywhere - the Founders simply wanted a way to remove people who were out of control.

And The Smirk is UTTERLY out of control. He is trying to abolish the Constitution - and has partially succeeded, abetted by his fellow Republican brownshirts and the Democratic Party stooges.

5. He recommended to his subscribers to go 50% net worth into
QQQ. It went from $75 to $30/share almost overnight. Brinker's advice wiped out thousands of retirees. Brinker sux, don't take his advice at all.

....because I was just about to. I think we heard this on the same station (770).

I was outside winterizing my yard and came inside, where my husband was listening to this. I caught the tail end of the segment where he said if Democrats get control of the House, they will 'rue the day' they try to impeach Bush.

Ass. x(

An aside question: are all financial 'gurus' with radio shows brownshirt Nazis? I don't listen so I don't know. I would guess they're all about the sweet $$$$$$ but I could be wrong....

12. Yep, I was listening to 770 KKOB
I go back and forth from Air America to 770 KKOB. The ironic thing was I flipped over to Ring of Fire and they were talking about the case for impeachment and a book by a former congress woman.

8. I guess he hasn't read the latest Newsweek poll results
showing that more than half of the American population wants to see Shrubby impeached.

Here is an earlier thread on this aspect of the latest Newsweek poll:

9. "I'm Osama Bin Laden, and I approve this message."
:sarcasm:

I hope that this phrase becomes a nationwide chant against Bush and his agendas. As well as slapping the Democrats for not making Bin Laden a campaign issue. Tough love, but someone's got to say it.

15. Really? I guess Junior was just kidding around when he swore his oath ...
... to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. He's cursed at the "piece of paper" and shredded it into little bits, all the while pretending that he's the King of the World. But he's not committed an impeachable offense? I must have missed the part where engaging in oral sex is the sole basis for impeachment. Some brave patriotic lady (or gentleman) needs to do their patriotic, albeit truly revolting duty, so we can get this FUBAR personified out of the WH and save our country from tyranny.

16. Reminds me of a sign that someone at a protest
was holding that said "Will somebody please give Bush a bj so we can impeach him?"
