1. I think as Virginians have learned more about Webb,

many feel comfortable with him. Secretary of Navy under Reagan and Vietnam vet going up against a chickenhawk racist who blindly marches in lockstep with Bush. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yesterday Allen joined the NAACP - lifetime membership no less. He was put on the spot at a campaign event and shelled out $750.00 from his checkbook. That must have been a painful moment for him. Maybe some of his Klan friends will decide to stay home, and others will recognize that as the desperate move of a total hypocrite. Here's hoping.
