Hooray for my county!
Just got an oversized postcard today of our dear leader with a blase' expression in front of the "mission accomplished" banner.

The back says:

"Mission Accomplished" eh, what do you think?

It's been nearly 3 1/2 years since George Bush declared "Mission Accomplished" in Iraq...3 1/2 years, 2,700 American lives, more than $300 billion spent and no end in sight.

If you feel betrayed, lied to, kept in the dark about the facts, you're not alone... If you feel those dollars would have been better spent making sure every American had access to affordable healthcare, a living wage, cheaper prescription drugs, a better education, you're not alone.

If you feel it's time we had a real plan for winning the war and the peace, you're not alone.

Problem is you'll never get another opportunity to let George Bush know directly how you feel. But you can send him a strong message.

Vote early, October 16th - November 2nd

This was sent out by the Madison County, Illinois Democratic Organization and it provides a website and a phone number to find out your polling places and how to vote early!

I sincerely hope every household who has registered voters got one. We got two...I guess for two registered voters in the house.
