Stupidest Republican meme
The memes coming out of Karl Rove's skunkworks are invariably a real laugh riot, aren't they?

My fave, from the last election, was "security mom." I mean, WTF is that? A play on "soccer mom"? What does it mean?

What's your favorite lameass idea-virus from the GOP?

1. I guess it's a mom who spends all day watching FOX news, and worrying that
Terra-ists might choose to come blow her up in her house in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

If any Iraqis do want to fight us here, they didn't until "we" attacked them there.

8. "Family Values" : especially as applied to the Schiavo case.
Congress convening to interfere in one of the most difficult family matters imaginable, totally politicizing a private concern. That was stupid, stupid, stupid...

9. Freedom isn't free.
Excuse me, but it most certainly is free. The great decider bush himself said so, when he said that freedom is a gift from God.

http://www.christianpost.com/article/20050505/21099.htm

"Speaking before an interfaith audience at the White House’s East Room on Thursday morning, bush said freedom is a gift from God meant for all people."

"Second, we pray for help in defending the gift of freedom ...."

And why does bush always squeeze his eyes so tight when he "prays"? Who in hell is he trying to convince?

* got that down under Babs a gazillion years ago. He is such a lameass phoney...if people really prayed like that, they'd give themselves headaches.

10. Fight 'em over there...
so we can give hundreds of billions of dollars to Halliburton & company. We couldn't prevent them from bringing terrorism here--despite the tens of thousands of dollars worth of National Security enhancements the Republicans have accomplished in the last five years (while spending hundreds of billions more outside of IRAQ/Halliburton).

Unfortunately, they still have many Americans befuddled with the false concept that they are better on Security (though more and more are realizing the lie), and millions of Americans remain convinced--somehow--that IRAQ has something to do with fighting Terrorism (instead of creating and ensuring more).

It is rather ironic that the Republicans have maligned the notion of pulling back from IRAQ (with cut and run), when that's what they themselves--in large part--are wanting to do.

15. Yeah, "homeland" does have a Berlin '37 vibe, doesn't it?
I like to refer to the DHS as the Heimatsicherheitshauptamt, which pretty much encapsulates that mindset.

12. "Culture of Life!"
It should be more like, "Culture of Sperm."

Republicans don't care about life.

They only care about three things: Sperm, Money and Power.

19. Ding!!! We have a winner.
With allllllll they've done the last six years (my goodness it hurts to think of it), "culture of life" is the absolute epitome of the 180 degree opposite of what they are.

13. The meme from last election was "values voters."
That bullshit was completely disproved by statistical analysis. See Mark Crispin Miller.

The question is: how are The Thieves going to explain stealing the upcoming election? They've got no more cover.

remind me...

The one that kills me to this day is "Support our Troops". Ask any one of them what that means and it turns into a hilarious five minutes of staggering and stumbling for words.
