Hillary Clinton Debate on Cspan right now |
|
Hillary got cheers when she was introduced and came out. the Republican got light polite applause. i don't think anyone has come there to see a debate but rather just to see Hillary.
it seems to be focused on Hillary and whether she will run for President for now.

The republican posters on the MSN forum are saying that Hillary lost the debate big time, that she could not keep up with her opponent.
And even tho I didn't see it, I knew this was a lie.

12. none of them really seem to come out as winners or losers |
|
Hillary does good in responding to somet hings but sometimes she appears too defensive.
the Republican comes off as a bit of an annoying prick with his constant comoplaints about blaming Bush for things. and just pissing and whining about Hillary and Democrats and the debate in general such as his complaint about people cheering after some answer Hillary gave.
it doesn't really matter as Hillary will easily win. but it's interesting to watch.
they are back on the presidential question and Hillary does good in trying to avoid it and bring it back to the issues.

10. They shouldn't have locked out the third parties from the debate |
|
That's a real disservice to the voters and it shows a lot about Hillary's character that she didn't even debate her only opponent in the Primaries.
I will do everything in my power to make sure someone else wins our Party's nomination in 2008.

incidently Spencer was good too. I think anyone would be a fool to underestimate Hillary Clinton. She has become a much better debater than she originally was.

13. yeah, i think she comes off better |
|
i actually watched more to see how she would come across than to see a debate between her and the Republican.
but a lot of the times she does well is when she speaks about New York . she does come off as caring about the state and understanding what the needs of the state are.

and familiarized herself with New York. I assume she would use the same skills in a national race.

17. Brought home a point way too many Dems don't use, |
|
that we will change things because we will have a Democratic majority. Our amendments and bills were always blocked, that's why the things wanted couldn't be delivered.
Very good job too on the play by play JI7.
