The word "tinfoil" should be stricken from JFK threads
Edited on Sun Oct-22-06 10:30 AM by Artiechoke
Not really, but I find it really insulting to see (seemingly) uninformed posters ridiculing those who have been researching the matter for many years. There are so many good sources, and our own Congressional Investigation concluded that there probably at least two shooters, not to mention Kennedy's wife and brother, and about 80 percent of American citizens.
It's good to debate, but the tinfoil/nut references are uncalled for

1. Agreed! Gore said he would open up the records as president.
Man, if he ran on that platform ALONE I bet he'd get elected!

2. Did he? That's is good news.
Bobbie said that if elected, one of the first things he'd have done was find the people who killed his brother.

3. The problem in todays internet environment
is any yahoo can make a "documentary" as pass it off as credible and valid. The lower the standard of what passes off as investigation the less credible all conspiracies become.

A perfect example is the "Loose Change" series on the 9/11 conspiracy. Those "documentary" are so filled with holes and misinformation, it is ridiculous people actually fall for them. A small amount of critical thinking skills can expose them as "tinfoil" fodder. The connect the dots aspect of them are are so far apart and so unrelated it makes you wonder.

As with the JFK assassination and Waco event there is lots of empirical evidence that certainly leads one to question the whole story.
