And exposing the swiftboating type ads, with brilliant irony, for the lazy, cynical and corrupt intellect they represent.

1. Jon Stewart will also be doing his show in Ohio...
...for a week (starting one week from tomorrow) to emphasize the midterm elections.

That should help Get-Out-the-Vote.

2. unfortunately, these hate ads work wonders for the stupid
For those that know what's going on these ads mean nothing.

But to those who consistently vote against their interest (along with their families, countries and worlds best interest) rely on these short simplistic messages to get them to the polls - they've already decided on who to vote for because someone has told them - whether it's an employer, religious leader or "family tradition".

5. That group, whom Colbert affectionately dubbed backwash, won't
be swayed by humor. It's the idea of the silliness of these ads catching hold ala an MST3K approach.

Their shows have skewered the faux outrage in these commercials in a way that makes these ads even more ridiculous and have begun creating a conventional view of their idiotic approach.

4. I've saved Colbert's speech, and George's Galloways, and Keith Olbermann's
I have the feeling I'm going to be looking at them a lot over the next few weeks.
